Dr. Jenny Fundus
Dr. Fundus is a Nebraska native, who started working in special education early; she volunteered in the Life Skills room at her high school, then went to Nebraska Wesleyan University to major in special education and elementary education. She obtained her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has published two articles on Early Childhood Education.
Dr. Fundus has served as an elementary and middle school resource and self-contained teacher, elementary assistant principal, elementary principal, Director of Early Childhood Education and most recently Director of Special Education (K-12) in Lincoln Public Schools. She is passionate about helping students who are at-risk reach their highest potential.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, Matt, two daughters and two dogs.
