Peter Jurhs has over twenty years of experience in Information Technology. He has worked in pc manufacturing, inbound call center, higher education, and k-12 education. As the Director of Information Services for Nampa School District 131, he leads a team of 30 members which provides a diverse range of services from copy services to network management. He helped plan and implement the four-year rollout of Nampa Personalized Learning and the supporting device deployment. He has been working to bridge Teaching and Learning and Information Services to build an ongoing partnership between the departments. Peter developed the support process foundation still used by Boise State University’s Office of Information Technology, Customer Care department. Peter received a Master of Science in management information systems from Boise State University in 2009. He also holds three industry certifications: HDI Support Center Team Lead, GAIC Information Security Professional, and ITIL v3 Foundations.
