Joshua Patchak is the Director of Technology for Green Bay Area Public Schools. He is a Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL) through CoSN with a background in computer programming. He came to educational technology 8 years ago after beginning his career in the private sector. A philosophy major, he began in help desk support and then spent several years working as an application engineer creating automated tests for web applications and creating and administering systems for managing test data. He began in education as a computer programmer and analyst specializing in large data sets and data integrations. After leading the Programmer Team for Green Bay into custom application development for the district, he became Director of Technology for Green Bay, responsible for all network, hardware, and programming activities. Josh is also a musician and passionate about opportunities for students in the arts. He is married to a middle school teacher has two elementary aged children.
